A simple agreement.
We'll put a simple agreement in writing before we start. That's there to protect us both — it lays out exactly what I do, what it costs, and what you can expect, so there's never any confusion on either side.
Davies Bookkeeping · Boerne, Texas
You didn't start your business to do the books at nine at night. I keep them clean, current, and out of your hands — so you can get back to the work you actually meant to do.
I'm Craig. Boerne, Texas.
01 — The problem
The bank feed you haven't looked at in three weeks. The quarter you're not quite sure about. The nagging feeling you don't really know what you made last month.
It's not that you can't do your own books. It's that every hour on them is an hour not running your business — and it never gets less tedious. Sunday night comes around, and there they are, waiting.
You've got better things to do. So do your books.
02 — What I do
I take ownership of your books. Every month, without you chasing me:
Every month
What you get back
That's it. Clean books, clear numbers, and you never think about it again.
03 — Where I keep it simple
Bookkeeping is recording and reporting your money — and that's what I do, and do well. A few things sit outside that on purpose, so you always know what you're paying for.
Their own jobs
Invoicing your customers, paying your bills, and running payroll are their own jobs. If you want a hand with those down the line, we can talk about it separately — but they're never quietly bundled into your monthly fee.
Your receipts stay yours
Keep them stored, both a paper copy and a digital one — it's good practice, it protects you if you're ever asked for them, and it keeps your records solid. I'll always tell you to hold onto them; I work from your accounts, not your shoebox.
Simple scope, honest price, no surprises on the invoice.
04 — The honest promise
I won't promise clean books will make you profitable — that's on you and how you run the place.
What I promise is that you'll always know exactly where you stand, your books will be ready when your CPA needs them, and you'll never lose another Sunday to this again.
05 — Who I am
Craig Davies
Owner · Davies Digital Solutions
Boerne, Texas
I'm Craig. I run Davies Digital Solutions here in Boerne, and bookkeeping is the side of the business owners keep asking me for — someone local they can hand this to and trust with it.
Ten years in the British Army as a systems engineer. When a process is wrong in that job, people get hurt. You learn to write things down properly and build them so they work every time.
Now I do the same thing for businesses here in the Hill Country. Trades, manufacturing, e-commerce, professional work — it doesn't matter much. If it's a business run by the person who built it, it's the same problem underneath.
Veteran-owned. I work in QuickBooks Online.
You met me, you'll work with me, and if something's not right you ring me — not an account manager.
06 — Fair terms, both ways
Nothing buried, nothing you can't walk away from.
